The blind flange is the most popular

type of flange. It does not have a hole in the center and is mainly used for pipe system ends. It also allows for the inspection of the line and its future continuation.

Used for closing lines and flanged sections, can be used in various temperature and pressure conditions. If water hammer happens, it is recommended to use caps instead.
